Summer solstice and Shilo's birthday!
It actually felt a lot like summer today. It was around 80 degrees. Amazing. Jacob and I biked to the gym this morning. On the way back, my bike chain broke so we walked the rest of the way. The bike used to be my older brother's back when he was in college, and I acquired it for free. After lots of exposure to the elements, I'm not surprised that the chain broke. Good thing we weren't that far from home.
We went back to the gym in the afternoon for some pool time! So much fun - minus the fact that the pool was super duper packed. Alas, I guess that's what happens here in Portland where nice weather is pretty much a state holiday. Jacob loved it, though. And so did I.
